Friday Five

Chocolate, almond, and toffee make the prettiest lacey cookies
It's hard to believe July is already halfway over, there are only two weeks left of my internship, and in just over a month I will be back at school. This summer has been speeding by, and while I'm excited to get back to my life at school, it's unnerving to realize just how this summer has whizzed by, the school year will as well. For now I'm content to savor the fleeting last weeks of summer, make progress on my summer bucket list, and continue to make the most of my time at home.

I haven't seen my college friends at all since this summer's wedding, and I'm looking forward to getting together this weekend with a couple of my old roommates. Plus, it feels like forever since I've been in the city, and the forecast shows promising signs of sunny skies to take my grandma on a little sight-seeing. Have a great weekend!

First time I've seen a rainbow in the backyard

Shopping after a short hiatus and finding trendy takes on classic pieces that make up my go to uniform: a neutral striped crop top, maroon high-waisted skater skirt, and faux pearl ear jackets

Repurchasing my Vitamin D supplements in gummy form, which now have a high likelihood of becoming a post-breakfast "dessert"

My all-time favorite hometown deli sandwich with breaded chicken cutlet, fried eggplant, tomato, mozzarella, and ricotta cheese

  1. Oooh la la. I like the crop top & skirt. They are staple pieces. :]

    1. Thanks! I love the combination so I was definitely happy to find a maroon skater skirt to go with my usual black grey and white ones!
