I started off the beginning of the month with a quick trip to D.C. to spend a weekend with Alex and Natalia. It was a packed 46 hours, but the best part by far was being back with some of my best law school friends. I spent the next couple of days going through separation withdrawal, but I already can't wait for our next reunion. While I wish we all still lived in the same city, it is kind of cool that I have an excuse to go visit so many different parts of the country.
I haven't been to D.C. in years (shortly after my college graduation) so it was also fun to experience the city with our resident tour guide, Alex. We started off Friday with a H Street crawl ending in a dumpling feast. Saturday we went to Union Market (I got empanadas), the Gallery of Art, the cherry blossom + kite festival at the Washington Monument, ate a ton of tapas at Oyamel, and hung out in Logan Circle at night. On Sunday we had matcha cake and more dumpling at Maketto, walked to the Eastern Market, and talked for hours while I procrastinated hitting the road.
It kind of already feels like a dream, but I can't wait for the next time. Below are a few snapshots of some of my favorite sights!
