Well, neither did I before planning this trip. Put-in Bay is a little island on Lake Eerie accessible by ferry that is a go-to destination for bachelor/bachelorette parties (so we came to find out). It's a quick drive from our law school's town so we figured why not take a getaway during our final weekend before bar prep began.
We rented a small cabin, barbecued most of our meals, took walks along the water, had clam chowder in bread bowls, and most importantly celebrated.
The tagline might not have lived up to the real Cancun (nothing can beat those crystal blue waters and fresh ceviche!), but I had an awesome time letting loose and enjoying our time there.
