Touring through Vienna

Walking through the center of Vienna
My favorite part about visiting Vienna? Trying the food. I'm pretty adventurous with new cuisines, but I was also looking forward to a change from the sausages and saeurkraut galore in Germany. I had kaisekrainer, vienerschnitzel, a Viennese pasta that was very similar to lasagna, and of course coffee and cakes at a local coffee house.

Vienna was much larger than Salzburg, and we kept busy soaking in all the sights. We visited the Pratar amusement park, Stadtpark, Schonbrunn Palace, Hofburg Palace, St. Stephen's Cathedral, Leopald art museum, and the Freud museum (located in his house!). We were even able to watch a show in the theater featuring opera and a string orchestra playing Mozart and Strauss. Vienna did not disappoint!
